Christine Salembier came to RAP from the Washington, DC office of Fleishman-Hillard International Communications, where she was a member of the public affairs and energy and environmental practice groups specializing in raising an organization’s profile among opinion leaders and policy-makers. Her clients included federal government agencies, global NGOs and private energy companies.
At RAP, she is responsible for operations, human resources, information technology, financial, and internal communications and processes. She also helps RAP meet its goals by supporting program development and coordinating the execution of action plans.
In an earlier private consultancy practice, Ms. Salembier developed and managed a diverse coalition to promote wind development and managed government relations for a US-based wind developer.
An experienced regulator, Ms. Salembier served as both commissioner of the Vermont Department of Public Service (DPS) and deputy commissioner under RAP Principal Rich Sedano. Before joining the DPS, Ms. Salembier served as a senior vice president for consumer banking for a bank holding company in New England, where she oversaw all aspects of retail operations.
Ms. Salembier received her BA degree from American University.
