Rich Sedano gave a presentation to the 2011 Annual Meeting of the National Association of Energy Service Companies, NAESCO, on November 1, 2011. Sedano gave an overview of the state of energy efficiency policy progress in state and the US, noting that there is significant momentum to continue growing energy efficiency despite some challenges in 2011. He urged those interested in energy efficiency to maintain focus on improving energy efficiency regulation in areas like the utility business model and savings measurement and verification, briefly explained RAP’s work on “Clean First,” and he praised the recent trend to form state level business councils for energy efficiency and clean energy oriented companies to explain their role in the general economy in the political forum.
