Applying the Efficiency First principle to photovoltaic self-consumption in Germany
At the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy’s (eceee) 2019 summer study, Andreas Jahn spoke about the principle of Efficiency First and how it can be applied to an owner’s consumption of self-generated solar power. He explored recent developments in residential solar photovoltaics in Germany, shortcomings in the German support system and recommendations for improvement.
