The Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management (NESCAUM) recognizes the economic and environmental benefits that energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) provide. It also recognizes that more must be done to encourage and facilitate inclusion of EE/RE in federal and state air quality (AQ) planning efforts (e.g., State Implementation Plans or SIPs). Accordingly, NESCAUM asked RAP to develop and present a comprehensive training workshop for its staff. Chris James, Ken Colburn, and John Shenot prepared and conducted this training on August 30, 2011 as a series of modules. This module focused on renewable energy.
