​​​In the second of three RAP presentations for a Utah Department of Public Utilities staff workshop on grid modernization, John Shenot explored approaches for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of investments. In the first part, Elaine Prause provided an overview of grid modernization investments. In the third part, Dr. Carl Linvill discussed the more granular cost allocation and smart rate design needs of a modernizing grid.
