Grid Modernization Investments: Evaluation and Cost Recovery
In the first of three RAP presentations for a Utah Department of Public Utilities staff workshop on grid modernization, Elaine Prause provided an overview of grid modernization investments. In the second part, John Shenot explored approaches for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of investments. Dr. Carl Linvill then discussed the more granular cost allocation and smart rate design needs of a modernizing grid.
