BRUSSELS, Belgium — The Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP) announces the promotion of Jan Rosenow to principal. Dr. Rosenow, who joined RAP in 2015, leads the organisation’s European team as its programmes director.
“Jan has been an important part of RAP’s vital work in the European Union by growing our presence and building and helping lead a strong and talented team. His promotion is well deserved and we’re delighted to have his expertise at RAP,” says RAP’s CEO and president Richard Sedano.
Dr. Rosenow, an international energy and climate expert, has continued to take on new leadership roles since joining RAP. Most recently, the House of Commons Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee has referenced his work in its report on energy efficiency and the U.K.’s net-zero carbon emissions target.
Dr. Rosenow also serves on the Executive Committee of the International Energy Agency’s demand-side management program, sits on the board of the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy and the Efficiency Valuation Organisation. Earlier this year, he was ranked as one of the top 100 “Renewables and Future of Energy Influencers” by Onalytica.
