BRUSSELS, Belgium—The European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee) has appointed Jan Rosenow to its governing board. Dr. Rosenow, European programme director and senior associate at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), will serve as an organizational member of the board, representing RAP.
Dr. Rosenow joins 11 other members tasked with managing and guiding eceee, Europe’s largest and longest-standing NGO focused on energy savings.
Executive director Nils Borg welcomed Dr. Rosenow’s appointment, emphasising that “Jan has in-depth knowledge of regulation and European energy policy. He also has a background of both research and policy involvement. With his many Summer Studies, he knows eceee very well.”
“Eceee is an important voice in the energy transition and decarbonisation debate,” Rosenow said. “I’ve enjoyed working with them for many years, so it is an honour to have been entrusted with this important role.”
Eceee promotes energy efficiency and its benefits to a broad audience of policymakers, practitioners, industry, research institutes, and others active in the sector. An independent entity, eceee provides policy analysis and research, facilitates cooperation and networking, and hosts its biennial flagship event, the Summer Study.
