Brittany Currie joined RAP in 2024 as director of finance. Currie brings her deep experience in accounting and passion for numbers to RAP’s financial operations.
Prior to joining RAP, Currie was the director of finance and operations for Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union and as the business manager for the town of Hardwick, Vermont.
Currie achieved her associate’s degree in accounting and bachelor’s in business administration at Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently completing her master’s degree in business administration at the same institution.

How did you catch the “energy” bug?
I have always been interested in clean energy, but the floods of 2023 and 2024 in my home state of Vermont have really put an emphasis on the importance of this mission. I want my children and grandchildren to be able to live and experience things that I have been able to and not have to worry about continuous natural disasters.
What is one of your bravest accomplishments?
I have a terrible fear of heights, however I set a goal to climb the Eiffel Tower in Paris and I accomplished the goal in 2011!
When I was 5, I was pretty sure I'd be a teacher! I loved school and my teachers and always hoped I could be one someday. As I grew older, I realized my love for numbers and finance. However, I do get to teach people about finance related topics on a regular basis so I guess in some ways, I have made it work!
