Pablo Hevia-Koch (he/him) is head of Renewable Integration and Secure Electricity at the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he leads work on grid modernization, electricity security, and global power market design. With over a decade of experience in international energy policy and system transformation, Pablo manages a multidisciplinary team responsible for major analyses that inform G7, G20 and COP-level strategies on renewables and electricity grids.
Pablo also directs the secretariat of the Regulatory Energy Transition Accelerator (RETA), a global coalition now spanning over sixty electricity regulators and institutions, including the IEA, IRENA, the World Bank and RAP. He has authored and overseen landmark studies on electricity grids, system flexibility, and market design, and is an active contributor to international working groups on power sector transformation.
Before joining the IEA, Pablo served as team leader for the Sino-Danish Energy Cooperation Programme at the Danish Energy Agency, directing Denmark’s flagship energy cooperation with China and supporting programs with other key emerging economies. He also held advisory roles in bilateral energy programs across Asia, Latin America and Africa.
A native of Argentina, Pablo is based in Paris, France. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, running, skiing and music. He speaks Spanish and English fluently and has working proficiency in Danish and French.
Pablo holds a doctorate in energy economics from the Technical University of Denmark and graduated summa cum laude as a civil electrical engineer from the University of Chile.

如何按照“统一原则和供需关系”完善容量电价机制
