To be able to scale the adoption of heat pumps and other electrification measures, especially with the support of federal funds, states will need to expand their skilled workforce. Different models for workforce training, including those that support existing employees and attract new workers, are being successfully demonstrated across the country. To help state decision-makers determine which approaches could work best for them, this webinar looked at training models for heat pump installers developed by states, academic institutions, and industry, exploring their strengths and some of the typical challenges they face.
