In this December 5, 2012 webinar, Chris Kramer and Glenn Reed of Energy Futures Group identify ten significant design issues for energy efficiency potential studies. When handled improperly, potential studies lead to flawed results. Given that these are nearly always expensive and time consuming undertakings, it is important to “get it right” the first time. This webinar, based on the paper prepared for RAP by Mr. Kramer and Mr. Reed, provides guidance to regulators and stakeholders to help ensure that any new potential study will avoid mishandling the identified issues and will meet the study’s stated objectives. The authors also explore how results from a flawed previous study can be re-interpreted to be more useful. Please visit our Events page to view a recording of the webinar.
