Krishna Reddy is an associate with RAP’s Global Expertise Center, working on the RETA programme. His work focuses on supporting regulatory research, stakeholder engagement, and peer learning related to renewable energy integration and power system transformation. He contributes to workshop design, development of knowledge resources, and documentation that support exchange and learning among energy regulators.
Krishna’s professional path spans political and civic engagement, energy systems, innovation, and community building. He began by working in political and civic spaces, went on to study energy technologies, and later supported the growth of energy and innovation communities across Europe. Over time, his work evolved towards co-creation, design thinking and facilitation, with a focus on helping diverse actors engage with complex, system-level challenges and interdependencies.
Before joining RAP, Krishna worked as an independent consultant supporting community-driven programmes across energy, health, and innovation ecosystems. His work focused on designing participatory workshops, building and sustaining communities of practice, and supporting learning processes that enable collaboration across disciplines. Drawing on systems thinking, he worked at the intersection of facilitation, communication, and programme support to help groups move from fragmented perspectives toward shared understanding and practical action.
Krishna is based in Karlsruhe, Germany. Alongside his professional work, he maintains a strong creative practice, including photography, which shapes how he approaches observation, storytelling, and facilitation. He holds a Master of Science in energy technologies (entrepreneurship) from EIT InnoEnergy, with studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany and Instituto Superior Técnico in Portugal, and a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from BMS College of Engineering in Bangalore, India. Krishna speaks English, German, Kannada and Hindi.
