Brenda Hausauer coordinates the work of RAP’s U.S. team, which provides expertise on the power and gas sectors in the states. Ms. Hausauer supports the U.S. program director on management and planning issues, and leads the operational and administrative work related to the U.S. team. She joined RAP in 2007 as a research and policy analyst, providing analysis for many publications, conducting research, and contributing to team projects.
Earlier in her career, she worked as a policy analyst and planner for the Vermont Department of Public Service, developing the state’s Comprehensive Energy Plan. Hausauer also served as a local zoning and planning administrator, as well as a researcher and writer for several Vermont-based energy and land use planning nonprofits.
Brenda Hausauer earned a bachelor’s in English from Luther College and a master’s in environmental philosophy from Colorado State University.
