Raphael Breit joined RAP in January of 2023, bringing his expertise in policy analysis and utility regulation to the U.S. team. Breit supports RAP’s work on energy and environmental policy issues and delivers thought leadership on clean energy.
Before joining RAP, Raphael Breit worked as a policy and research analyst at Earthworks, an environmental advocacy organization. He helped design and implement organizational efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from upstream oil and natural gas facilities through stronger regulations and better regulation enforcement. He also worked as a project manager at the management consulting firm Kauffman & Associates, where he helped federal agencies and American Indian tribes enhance the reach and effectiveness of social sector organizations in the tribal community.
Breit received a master’s degree in public policy from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Union College.
