Danny Livingston

Strategy advisor & Senior associate, U.S. program

Danny Livingston is a strategy advisor to RAP’s CEO, Katherine Dixon, and U.S. Executive Director, Jay Griffin, and a senior associate in RAP’s U.S. Research and Strategy Hub. He works closely with senior leadership to shape RAP’s organizational strategy and drive priority initiatives to strengthen global impact. His work spans strategy development, fundraising and organizational buildout, as well as the design and advancement of RAP’s U.S. policy and technical assistance agenda. He has played a central role in launching RAP’s Council of Commissioners and advancing priority work on affordability, large load growth, and regulatory innovation.

Before joining RAP, Danny was a senior associate consultant at Bain & Company in Washington, D.C., where he advised clients across energy, nonprofit and aerospace and defense sectors. He has also held internship roles with the U.S. Department of State and the World Bank, working on energy policy and international development.

Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in foreign service from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where he studied science, technology, and international affairs with a concentration in energy and the environment. He also earned an honors certificate in international business diplomacy and a minor in Spanish.

Danny is based out of New York City.
